It’s National Newspaper Week — a distinction that goes relatively unknown outside the print journalism world. It’s something we celebrate here, in our little office on West Second Avenue, where week after week, four dedicated women make a newspaper.
I want to recognize all the people who protect and serve us; the Sweet Grass County Sheriff’s Office, Montana Highway Patrol, the volunteer fire departments, the ambulance service and the search and rescue team. They continue to do a great job.
I see everyone working very hard this election year for their candidates. We definitely live in exciting times. I feel it is very important that we keep our elections honest and above-board for all Americans.
