Deputies discover 50 grams of meth at car crash

A Sweet Grass County sheriff’s deputy found more than 50 grams of methamphetamine June 2 while responding to a car crash on Big Timber Loop Road. Sheriff’s deputies arrested Eric Gibson and charged him with felony counts of criminal possession of dangerous drugs with intent to distribute and possession of property subject to criminal forfeiture as well as four other misdemeanors. Gibson pleaded not guilty to all charges on Tuesday, June 27 in Montana Sixth Judicial District Court in Sweet Grass County.
